Navigating LIfe Transtions

When life shifts faster than you can make sense of it

Transitions can arrive slowly or all at once — a breakup, divorce, job loss, retirement, a move, the loss of a pet, a betrayal, or a change you didn’t choose. Even positive transitions can stir up uncertainty. These moments often leave you standing between what was and what will be, unsure how to move forward.

You might notice yourself:

• feeling unsteady or disoriented, even if the change was expected

• struggling to let go of what was familiar

• replaying events, conversations, or decisions

• feeling overwhelmed by practical decisions and emotional shifts

• withdrawing from others because you “should be handling it better”

• trying to stay strong while quietly falling apart inside

You may think things like:

• “I didn’t expect this to hit me so hard.”

• “Everything feels unfamiliar.”

• “I don’t know what comes next.”

• “I thought I’d be further along by now.”

• “I’m grieving more than I realized.”

What this work looks like

Life transitions require space — space to grieve what’s been lost, to understand what’s shifting inside you, and to slowly reconnect with what matters now. Together, we identify where you are in the transition, what feels overwhelming, and what’s holding you back from taking the next step.

This work isn’t about rushing forward. It’s about moving at a pace that feels steady and supportive, honoring both the loss and next steps that feel possible.

The outcome

A sense of direction and emotional steadiness — the ability to move through change with clarity, resilience, and a deeper understanding of what you need as you step into what’s next.
